The Pete Gazette is a static collection of toy reviews. It has no accounts to log into, no forms to fill, and no shopping cart. We do not ask you for your name, your email, or your opinion of cats. The short version: this paper itself collects no personal information from you.
Nothing. There is no registration, no newsletter sign-up, no comment section, and no tracking or advertising script of our own placed on these pages. The Gazette sets no cookies of its own.
Like nearly every website, the web server that hosts the Gazette keeps standard access logs — the kind of routine record (such as the page requested and the time of the request) that a server produces to operate and stay secure. These logs are used for running and protecting the site, not for building a profile of you.
Amazon. The Gazette is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program. The "View on Amazon" links are affiliate links, and product photographs are loaded directly from Amazon's image servers. When you follow a link to Amazon, or when your browser loads one of those images, Amazon may set or read its own cookies and receive your request under Amazon's privacy policy. As an Amazon Associate, this site earns from qualifying purchases.
Google Fonts. The typefaces used across the paper are served by Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to load them, subject to Google's privacy policy.
The Gazette reviews children's toys, but it is written for the grown-ups who shop for them. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, children included — because, as noted, we do not collect personal information at all.
If this notice changes, the revised version will appear on this page. Your continued reading of a cat's toy opinions constitutes acceptance, which is the only contract Pete has ever honored.
