Pete's Expert Summary
My human has presented me with a 'Kaemgyyd' creation—a name that sounds like a sneeze caught in a keyboard. It appears to be a plastic case, shaped vaguely like a bear who has made some poor life choices, and it's filled with 203 brightly colored bits and bobs. The intent, I gather, is for the small, clumsy human to 'learn' by attaching plastic bolts to a board with a pathetically slow-whirring 'drill'. While the educational pretense is utterly tedious, I must admit the sheer quantity of small, lightweight pieces presents a certain... opportunity. A single well-aimed swat could send a plastic nut skittering across the hardwood, a far more compelling use of physics than whatever 'STEM' nonsense the box proclaims. The case itself, once emptied of its rattling contents, might make for an acceptable, if slightly undignified, nap station.
Key Features

A Tale from Pete the Cat
The prophecy had come to pass. I had seen it in a dream, between my fourth and fifth nap of the morning: a great shaking, followed by the arrival of a plastic vessel bearing tribute. And so it was. The small human, The Noisy One, tore open the offering and spilled its contents onto my favorite sunbeam. They were strange relics—gears of garish red, screws of an offensive green, bolts of a tolerable blue. I observed from the shadows of the dining table, my tail twitching in judgment as The Noisy One attempted to operate the whirring scepter, a device they called a "drill." He was building a monument, a strange, multi-colored tower that offended my minimalist aesthetic. It was an affront to the carefully curated Feng Shui of the living room. It blocked a critical path to the window where the plumpest sparrows congregate. This aggression would not stand. I waited until the builder was summoned away by the promise of juice. Then, I descended. My mission: not destruction, but *deconstruction*. This was a test of my own engineering prowess. I surveyed the disaster. The screws were sunk deep into the board. A lesser creature would have clawed at them futilely. But I am Pete. I located the 'down' button on the abandoned drill, the one I had observed The Noisy One using to reverse his many mistakes. Placing a single, perfect paw upon the trigger, I pressed. The device whirred to life, its slow, steady rotation a thing of beauty. I guided the tip to a particularly egregious green screw. It engaged. The screw began to back out, slowly, magically, freed from its plastic prison. I repeated the process, a silent, furry foreman dismantling the shoddy work of my subordinate. The pieces, once liberated, were far more satisfying to bat into the dark abyss beneath the sofa. The toolbox is a crude, noisy affair, but this power of effortless reversal... it is a tool worthy of a king. I shall permit its existence, for now.
