How can anyone NOT notice these lights? One minute you have a blue light, wait, make that red, I mean green....WOW! This was the real headturner this past Fourth of July and on our campouts and at parties, etc.. Adults really love it best. The kids love it too, but it's the adults who play with it.

You won't regret this purchase. Great gift for anyone.

I have bought many Color Kinetics Sauce products over the past few months both for myself and to give away as presents. Children, teenagers and adults all have the same reaction... "Wow! This is a cool product" I have found that these are great for parties, gifts, birthdays, holidays, etc and highly recommend this product. -BH

My daughter received two of these for her 11th birthday and is has placed them on her Christmas wish list. She has enjoyed creating different projects and then being able to take them apart to create something new. A great gift for girls to that allows them to build and create.

My daughter got two of these sets for her sixth birthday. She has just had a ball making different little frames with these. The best part is that she can take them back apart and start over until she is happy with the results. They come apart easily as long as you know to use the little spatula that comes with it. She is going to go tomorrow and use her birthday money to buy the handbag set. What a great imaginative toy for girls!!

I purchased this chair for my 2 year old nephew who just adores Dora. I looked at other furniture but, since this is for my home, I wanted something that I could store easily when he is not visiting. He loves this chair. Not only is it a great size for him, but it is light-weight enough that he can pull it around and place it where he wants. All around, this is a great chair and I recommend it for someone who only has children around part-time becuase it is easy to store when deflated. Be aware, however, that you have to have a means to inflate it.

I bought this lamp for my room. It looks pretty cool and shines really bright. The only problem I had was it heated up quite a bit and got really hot. So please supervise small children with this light. It is mainly really fun to look at. It actually looks good enough to eat. Great gift for teenage girls ,or boys! Have Fun!

I think this toy is the best thing since they put water dispensers in refrigerators! We use it for water, but we also use it for beverages so we don't have to keep on opening and closing a 2-Liter bottle when everyone is thirsty. We use it for parties, we open the 2-Liter ONCE and pour it in there, so all you have to do is a simple hand motion and you can refill your drink! I would recommend this to EVERYONE!

I bought 5 of these wands for the neices and nephews
on our last camping trip and they were a BIG hit.
Even the two year-old niece instantly started
saying "ooooo" I had a great time bringing one out
to the clubs with me as well. I plan to buy
more of these products as the standard "kid gift"
for 2003. [Of course the adults all want one too.. ]

Well, this is not my first time buying these lights. Actually, its my third time in about a year. These are easily the best LCD lights on the market, with multiple settings (fade in, immediate switch, solid color, strobe) and multiple speeds (normal, slow, really slow, extremely fast, fast). They are great at parties. People will love watching them nearly endlessly. The only only only drawback is that they are not completely indestructable. We have used a lot of duct tape in the past, and I may suggest that you tape a few parts of the toy.

1. The battery compartment. There is a screw on it, but if the lights hit each other or against something else, it can go flying.

2. The clear part of the light should be taped to the base portion, as it can fly off if it comes in contact with something. It can be put back on, assuming the plastic doesn't crack.

3. The plastic piece that the cord attaches to has been known to break (a few times). We are trying to reinforce it with super glue or liquid concrete. I haven't tried it yet, so I dont know if it will work well. Tape does not work well up there (trust me...i know)

Please note...unless you are spinning the lights with some speed, these things probably aren't needed, but if you plan on trying to do tricks with them, you may want to consider protecting your investment. Happy light spinning!

This is a great toy, beats the hell out of night sticks, this changes colors and is alot of fun, everyone I see wants one, great for fan dancing, twirling and all sorts of effects for dancing, I got 2 of them to twirl them and to let my friends use too.. alot of fun.

I've had my light washers for well over a year without any problems. One has been on nearly 24/7 the whole time, the other probably half of that. They're each in bathrooms where they act as nice different-looking night lights.

Sorry to hear other folks have had problems, I guess I've been lucky. The only thing I can think of is neither is flush to a wall but both are hanging off of extension cords on the top & back of cabinets, and the 24/7 one has a fan blowing over it also 24/7. Perhaps their being kept cool has made the difference. Oh, an FWIW, mine were bought at different times at different places so they're probably not part of some 'good batch'. I've also given a bunch as house gifts without any reports of problems.

Anyway, I like them a lot and after having had them last so well for me, and being nice useful additions, should my current pair die on me I'll be replacing them. We also have the battery-powered dome version which we like too; it has been useful for finding our tent while camping and makes for a great pumpkin light.

I loved my 3 LightWashers while they lasted. The fact that one arrived DOA and had to be replaced should have clued me in. Nope.. stupid fool that I am..

It wasn't long before the fun started ending, though..

They all have died, basically. It didn't take long for the blue in each and every one of my three units to start flickering, one after another, then the blue went out.

One of them died completely soon after that. The other two now just shine red and green and so they have been retired.

(Well, I guess I can use them at Christmas! *sigh*)

So now they are useless.. Color Kinetics is supposed to make a quality product but the LightWashers have an average lifetime of (maybe) two months.

Well, [$$$] down the drain...

I own this, plus the LightTro socket bulb product.
I like this because it is a neat light, and it works reasonably well when the room ambient light is low. You will not see much during daylight (even if not near the window).

Unlike the LightTro bulb, the solid color mode includes WHITE light (all LED's fired on).

I had hoped I could use this as a night light. You could... it is bright enough, at least when it skims along a white-painted wall.

I left mine plugged in for a few days (switch turned OFF) and when I checked it, there was a very WARM spot I could feel though the plastic. I expected this to use NO heat or power while it is turned off, but there was warmth. I now unplug it when not in use, and don't leave it running unattended.

In the beginning, God said..."let there be light." Clearly, He wasn't considering the Hello Kitty Lantern. My 3 year old daughter ADORES this lamp. However, once the bulb burnt out there aren't any Philips KPR802 4.8 volt, .5 amp bulbs in the entire free world.
Rayovac has you over a barrel when your daughter is looking up at you with her tear-filled eyes asking you to 'please fix my lamp,' and your only choice is to buy a new lamp!!!!!

I bought this lantern for our 5 year old daughter a few months ago. She absolutely loves it! It is cute as can be, very durable and the output of light is extremely good for a toy lantern. I would highly recommend this toy to everybody.

We got this for our 5 year old daughter's room. It was a good 2-3 days project. The entire room is aglow at night, it looks fabulous, we set up the stars in constellations and the planets in orbits, so she's learning without realising it!
Yes, the wire isn't fun to set up, we actually just stuck the stars on the ceiling with the putty and it looks great.
Her room is a large-sized room, but this bundle more than covered it.

I highly recommend it.

When I was a little kid, my walls and celing exploded with thousands of little stars, comets and planets, glow-in-the-dark galaxies painstakingly arranged by my (very) patient mother. Looking to recapture my old room's nerdy chic, I purchased two Ultimate Glow Bundles (from Amazon), and believe me when I tell you the anemic little item summary does this product very little justice. ... you're getting almost 2000 pieces: two packs (about 700 pieces) of stickers, two packs of plastic stars (with durable, but frustrating, tacky adhesive), a pack of hanging platic stars (with string), and, coolest of all, two giant 3D plushes (Earth and Moon). You'll be hanging these babies for days, but it's worth it when you flick off the lights. As an added bonus, on the back of each pack are tons of basic facts about stars, planets, and the Universe (hence the 4-star 'educational' rating), which is great for little kids.
I'm very happy with my Bundles (and will probably order more- I want to do my bathroom next), and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive gift for someone of any age.

I bought 3 and loved them, for a few weeks..

Then, one by one, all three died. First the blue color flickers, then it goes out.

All three are now useless.

I have had three Sauce wall washers working for the last two years with no troubles. They are a lot of fun and make a great night light. I have given many as gifts. I like the solid black covers as well or the gray. the red bleads light out of the side of it.

This is a great gift item for all the little kids on your gift list. It's a great night light and it's really cool. I even bought one for myself.
