i am a forty two year old man who has always had trouble reading clocks, the ones with the hour and minute hand pointers especially. we bought this for my daughter originally, but i must admit i use it more than she does! it's wonderful!

we're late 20's and have a set that comes out sometime during most dinner parties! A few glasses of wine and its amazing how rough the battle for the crown can get. BEWARE though the crown is flimsy- we broke ours and had to replace it with a rhinestone model from claire's

this is definitly the best game ever!! im 15 and me and my friends still totally love this game! and when i babysitt the kids play it all the time, the little girl and even the boys (who are 8 and 11) this is so much fun to play... everyone gets to put on the pretty jewlry and have fun! I THINK THIS IS THE BEST GAME FOR ANYONE AGES 4-120!!!

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it. She's even gotten Daddy and Grandpa to dress-up :) Very cute game!!!

I was disappointed with the quality of this item. The dancing Madeline would not consistantly spin and play music, she needed a good hard tap to get her going. I returned her for this reason. I also thought the outside decoration was cheap--it just seemed to be glued on. I did think the interior was nice as was the pull out drawer. I might have kept it if it worked properly.

It has been 3 weeks since my daughter received this for her 4th birthday. The other toys are played with on different days, but this is the only gift that is, without fail wound, opened, and closed each nite without fail. Wonderful twist on the old balerina style, much more meaningful to a madeline fan. She carefully places her little rings, bracelets and necklaces in there designated spot each nite (never could get her to put them away before!) Really charming, any Madeline fan would be pleased.

From the moment my 3 1/2 year old opened this and the little figure began to twirl around to her beloved "Madeline" song she was enchanted. It has a little drawer on the bottom (that is used for various treasures) and a ring compartment and several other dividers on the top for jewelry or hair clips and such. Unfortunately, the beloved box was left on the floor and accidentally stepped upon by big brother which totally broke off the top of the box. Dad was actually able to glue it back together and it almost looks and works like new! Pretty enough to perch on a bookshelf for display and use!

I bought this Charm Bracelet for my daughters birthday and she just loves it. You can buy the extra charms on Imaginarium.com such as dance or music. I'm going to add the extra sets for Christmas and other special occasions. What a great idea!

The box is adorable but a bit small. My daughter loves the jewelry items it comes with.

When I ordered this item, I was ordering for my daughter. She loves Strawberry Shortcake. However, in the photo, I didn't realize that the jewelry box had the "vintage" version. The vintage version is from my childhood when Strawberry looked like Holly Hobbie. My daughter only knows the new stlye one. Now I don't know if I should give this item for Christmas or not.

The crystal tattoos are very difficult to apply. The adhesive tape is so strong and the crystals so small that we couldn't get the crystals to stick to my child's skin while pulling off the tape. I had to use a butter knife to gently hold each crystal down as I pulled the tape away. Even after that, the crystals were so small that the adhesive on them wasn't very strong and they fell off her skin rather quickly.

The jewelry part of this kit is probably better for children toward the upper range of the intended age target, provided they are very patient. The product says ages 6 to 12 but both my nearly 6 yr. old and 11 yr. old daughters had a great deal of trouble threading the beads onto the gold thread. The thread is stretchy material with a shiny fine gold thread wrapped around it. The gold part kept separating from the stretchy part making it really difficult to pull through the hole in the bead. I had trouble too until I realized I had to snip the very edge of the thread after each bead. Just working it through one hole caused it to fray. I thought about adding a drop of glue to hold the threads together but I was worried about getting it threaded to the clasp. The holes on the plastic clasps were smaller than the holes in the beads.

This is great but some of the beads were broken and they don't come in many colours.

However the tattoos are brilliant and this was the first time I had chrystal tattoos! They work fine

The storge tray is really glam and great!

But I warn you threr might be some broken beads.

But other than that cool and wow!

My 8th Grade Middle School Science Classes used this Rock Tumbler Machine and achieved great success and , I hope, knowledge. For the unit on rocks and minerals we did a science experiment with 1/2 of a rock sample for the Variable in a tumbler and 1/2 for a Control not in the tumbler. Students ran the entire lab for the month. The final results were great both as a science lab and an enjoyable activity. The use of the diatomaceous earth becomes another lesson. I recommend that you keep some of the same types of rock out of the tumbler just to compare after the tumbling is done even if you are not doing it as a lab in a classroom.
There is a lot of noise connected with this piece of equipment. I could leave it in a storage room. Also I recommend that you tape it onto a board or on the table as the vibrations may cause it to move. Make sure that the seal is tight so no water leaks out. This is noticed at the very beginning if it should occur and can be easily fixed.
Some students went ahead and ordered their own Rock Tumbler. I warned the parents about the noise!!!

My 8 yr. old daughter bought this item herself and loves it! She understood from the beginning that it would take a long time since it was doing nature's job of "thousands of years" in just one month. In a world of toys that offer instant gratification for our youth, this one teaches them that nature just doesn't work that way! Yes, it's noisy (we put ours under a styrofoam cooler & put a rock on top & that helped A LOT), yes, it's takes time, and yes, it is a bit messy, but look what you get in the end. Through all three steps, your child (and probably you too) learn the process and see how nature can turn a seemingly ugly rock into a beautiful gem. If you don't like noise, waiting or a little mess, this isn't for you. If you do like cause and effect, you will love this product. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day!!

We bought this for our 8-year-old son as a project. We knew ahead of time that it would take at least 3 weeks. (It should state this on the box though.) Rocks are hard! Nature can take thousands of years to do what this does in weeks! However, it is quite noisy and can leak a little. Put it in a garage or follow the suggestion of the other reviewer about a cooler. Vaseline does stop the leaks. Your patience with this will definitely pay off! The rocks were beautiful! There were quite a few big ones, plenty of medium size and lots of small ones. My son, the budding scientist that he is, was absolutely thrilled! I was so impressed and fasinated by each rock! I could not wait to do another batch! A great long-term project that teaches not only about nature, but about how rewarding a little patience can be. I highly recommend this to all people, (adults as well) who are interested in rocks and crystals.

As a mother I would have known better than to buy this toy. But my 2.5 year old daughter was at the toy store with her Papow and wanted this....ONLY BECAUSE SHE SAW DORA ON IT. So he bought it, brought it home and then realized he had made a mistake. The ring is TOO BIG, the bracelet is TOO SMALL, and the neckelace is TOO BULKY. My poor child tries to play with this but it is so poorly designed that she hurts herself trying to wear the bracelet and the necklace is practically as large as her head.
Do yourself a favor don't buy this. There are many other Dora toys out there that are cute and worth the money.
As for my set it will be on ebay really soon!

I am an 8-year-old girl who got this watch for Christmas 2001. It stopped working in May, 2002. It sometimes gets stuck on timer. Sometimes the backlight won't turn off, and sometimes it won't turn on. The stopwatch runs on and on, even if I press the start, stop, and reset buttons. I am not happy with this watch. I find it hilarious that it's called IronKids.

I had problems with three watchs that I bought. The first one just beeped continuously after about 2 weeks. The second one never was on. The third one worked great for around 5 months and then the light was always on and none of the buttons worked, but the time was on. This would be a great watch if it lasted longer.

Our eight-year old son received this watch for Christmas. It's very good looking, user friendly, and fun. Problem: The light quit working after a month, and the stopwatch quit working after 5 months. It would be a great product if it was more durable.
